My name is Alan Graham. I'm an author for O'Reilly & Associates, and I've appeared in Macworld, MacAddict, Wired, The London Observer, Slashdot, ZDNet, and on the Jim Lehrer Newshour. I also appeared in Po Bronson's book, "The Nudist On The Late Shift."
Sadly, I am not the nudist, but I did create the world's first book dedicated to blogging as literature, "Never Threaten To Eat Your Co-Workers."

...a brand enthusiast and lover of great products and services. I've been a tech evangelist, business development exec, marketing person, and community liaison for 15+ years now. So I'm good at talking about things that I love.
I started this site because while there are many discovery sites that find and report on cool new things, there aren't a lot of sites that just talk about products and services that they actually own and love.
Expectations
Look to see two to three new items per week as I get started. Everything I write about I have used or own. Nothing will appear here that I haven't (or someone who writes with me) used, tested, fallen in love with, and kept.
Expect a lot of photos. I want you to see and experience the products in a real environment, not just a professional studio or screen shots from a website. I think it is important to compare product shots to reality.
There are no bad reviews here...because this is a positive message site. Everything here is great...period.
Three more quick things...
Med Hed stands for Media Heads. Our character was designed by Capacitor Design Network who has done work for me in the past. They also did the great Delicious Monster site (another product I love). The character's current name is TV Head...not very clever...so I'll be having a contest soon to help come up with something better. I have T-shirts coming soon.
As for advertising. I HATE sites with lots of blinking things distracting you from what you are trying to read. So I'm going to keep advertising to a minimum...with no floating ads or ads in the content that look like part of the story. But to help support this site, if you see something here that you like, please use either my own provided links or an ad link on the side to buy it.
